My girlfriend has been taking bc for a while now to help her have a regular period ( im going to find out what kind specifically when I talk to her soon ) but anyways about a week ago she switched to a new kind.. Again I will find out specifics when I talk to her. Anyways, she was supposed to have her period on monday she said and she hasn't had it yet... We are worried to death that she might be pregnant... We have unprotected sex. Could switching to a new kind make her period come later? Please help!! Thank you!!

Switching brands can change your schedule. I was on the pill for years and got mine on the 3rd day of the last week of pills every month. Now I am on the patch and comparitively.. I get it the 4th or 5th day. So, yes, changing meds can change around your period.. Especially the first few months. I wouldn't panic just yet, but if she doesn't have her period after a few more days it wouldn't hurt to take a test and be sure.
