Cranberry extract is compatible with birth control pills. Nothing to worry about. Although not all supplements are good to use while on birth control pills. (i.E. St. John's wort is known for reducing the effectiveness of bc pills.)

Very true. Herbs/vitamins etc don't have to be approved by the fda and therefore don't have to state all ingredients or side effects. So, for anyone on b/c before taking anything ask a doc or pharmacist or look up whether or not it will reduce the effectiveness.
