I was wondering if any one has been in my situation and what happened.

My husband and I recently decided for me to cease my birthcontroll pills ( was on themn for 9 years) for many reasons. I have not had a period in over 2 months. I went to the Dr. And they ruled out pregnancy. They started me on provera for 10 days to start my cycle. My questions are has anyone been on the provera to start thier cycle and how bad was it when it started and my second question is how long before we should try to start concieving (would it be dammaging before a certian point)?

I was on the pill for seven years. When I went off the pill I too had problems with my period and still do. I was put on progesterone to begin my period. That same month I was prgnant with twins. So I think it should be ok to start trying as soon as you want. Good luck!
