I was wondering if I could get some advise/help from you ladies.....

My husband and I are trying to conceieve after a miscarriage that happened in november. I was 9 weeks pregnant and everything was going great. And then 2 days before my first ob appt and a chance to listen to the heartbeat for the first time I suddenly started bleeding and then within 12 hours I miscarried. It was such a horrible experience that I still cannot get over. We decided to wait a month or so and then start trying again.. Thing is my cycles are all messed up now due to this miscarriage. I had a 2 week very light period at the beginnning of january and then went 7 weeks without a period.. I dont even know when to try.. Im so confused... Is anyone else ttc after a miscarriage? How long did it take??... Please help....

Hi
Hi, I also had a miscarriage. It was just back in january. My dr said not to try again until I have a regular period. But I did some research online, and typically there isn't a health concern if you do try before a normal pregnancy, but they want you to wait so they can give the baby a due date. We were naughty and started trying (although not faithfully) like 3 weeks after the miscarriage, with no luck though. So I know what you are going through. I was very sad for a month, and reluctant to try again. Somehow I have gotten over and am ready to try full force this month!! Good luck. Pm if you want to chat.

My husband and I have had two, so my heart goes out to you. When we miscarried, the doctors advised waiting at least 3 mos before trying again, this was to give your body a chance to readjust afterwards. We weren't successful for almost a year.

Good luck
