What's ridiculous is this constant bickering back and forth between prochoice and prolife.. I don't care who started it.. It needs to health question stop! I really wish I was a mod right now to lock some of these threads but then all you'll do is start arguing in another one going back and forth and crying about the posts that were locked.. Not necessarily you brianbaby, but those who are know who they are. Also.. This bashing of each others children is ridiculous... No ones children and family has done anything to any one of us on this forum so keep the insults away from them at least.. They havent' done caca to any of you. Not a single one of you is morally better than the other person and nobodys perfect so this 'i'm better than you because I do this" attitude is extremely pathetic. I know I have insulted before but come on now! 2-3 pages of nothing but insulting and the occasional "wahh.. Prochoice is making this forum hell" bs is health question insane. If I was site admin.. Some people would be banned permanently and this forum locked forever and no.. That does not mean the debate can be carried over to the other abortion forum.. You would just have to find another place to debate abortion at.

Brian baby-it's funny all my posts get deleted here too no matter what it is I say. I could say good morning and it would get deleted. It's just ridiculous like you say. Especially since others can go around and say the nastiest things and the posts stay.

Who gives a crap if everything I say get's deleted or just one thing??? It dosn't matter!!! If I don't say anything "bad" then it shouldn't be deleted period.....Should I congradulate someone for not deleting this post??

I do not know which post is being referred to, and I don't even know if I saw it before it was deleted, but let me comment on deleted posts:

aside from the obvious reasons why posts get deleted, which I have commented on several times, and am not going to repeat: if you quote people in your posts, which is really popular around here for some reason, and that quoted post is getting deleted, then your post will also be deleted.
If there is constant bickering back and forth and the whole darn topic is getting deleted, then unfortunately your post will get deleted along with it.
That is all I can think of right now, but I am sure there was a reason that your post was deleted, whether or not it was something you directly said or did.

My advice would be, if there is obvious abuse going on, just don't waste your time posting in that thread. Because when it is all said and done, it really is just a waste of time because it is all going to get deleted.

As far as some users posts all getting deleted no matter what they said, that is all a load of you know what. Some users post what they know they are not allowed to over and over again and then get upset when it gets deleted. Well, if there is once darn curse word in your post and it is caught, gone. If you insult someone once or call them a name, gone. This just isn't tolerated anymore. And, if you would pay attention, you would notice that all users who do this, regardless of what their opinion or who they are, get their posts deleted.

To the comment about getting rid of this forum altogether: the only reason why this forum even exists is because when moderating the abortion forum, I got tired of the continuous abuse there and the debates starting all of the time! Users were being banned left and right (this is back when admin still got rid of abusive users) and it was ridiculous. So, I suggested we have the abortion forum and an abortion debate forum, therefore all of the debating and opinions would stay out of the abortion forum. Unfortunately, when some of you joined, you insisted on abusing the abortion forum anyway, and pm'ing users in that forum passing judgement on them, etc. So, I guess this forum really was/is a waste of time, since people still cannot debate without respecting a few simple rules!

If everyone would just respect each other, and stop being immature then this forum could be used for what it was intended and everything would be fine! If someone posts something ignorant to you, oh well! Don't respond! It will end up getting deleted and if it doesn't then make a post asking for it to be deleted. Don't stoop to their level. If you really wish for this to be a debate forum and not a smut forum then take part in making it that way.

Do you realize,who ever is deleting the posts,that by only deleting pro life insults and posts and leaving pro choice insults and posts,you are ruining pro choices credibility as it now looks like pro choice cannot debate,so your own hypocrisy as damaged pro choice integrity,well done

For the last time prolife and prochoice posts both get deleted! Pay attention before you go making false accusations. Look at all of the locked posts: what was deleted? All of the abuse!!!!!!!!!From both prochoice, prolife and those in the middle.
Must I repeat why posts get deleted in the first place? It is not the moderator's fault that the same users continue to curse, name-call and abuse the forum. Yes, those posts get deleted all of the time. Not because of their opinions or views of abortion, for abuse.
It is very childish to continue accusing the mods of only deleting prolife posts, especially when the new mods are prolife!!!!!!!!!!! Makes you look a little silly!

First of all I didn't lock anything. I resigned as forum moderator.
If you go through the long posts (the ones that are two or more pages) yes, there will be insults from prochoice and prolife because I never bothered to go through them as they are too long, and I doubt the new moderators will either.

As for the posts that are locked, as I said (if you would read!) the abuse in them was deleted! Both prochoice and prolife!

Yes, dear you are making yourself look silly accusing the mods of deleting only prolife posts because of their opinion content, when the mods are prolife!
I personally don't give a rats ass what everyone "can see" because i, and anyone who bothers to pay attention knows the truth.
Yes, there are abusive posts that still exist, but from prochoice and prolife. It isn't my, nor the other mods fault (as I have continuously tried to get across here) that most of the abuse does come from the prolife users.

No, prochoice people did not get banned, because they weren't pm'ing users from the abortion forum calling them names and insulting them. Nor were they continously cussing and insulting people in their posts even when given warnings not to. But, why does that matter? Everyone who was banned is back, so why does that matter?

i never pm'd anyone with anything and I never got as low and nasty as some other posters so I never knew why I was banned. Sure I cussed once in a while but everyone here does.

I don't know the exact circumstances surrounding everyone. I do know that it all depends on how often a person chooses to curse/ use the words that aren't allowed even when repeatedly asked not to. And it depends on the insulting of other, etc. It just depends on how many times a user has been asked to not abuse the forum and has been turned into admin.
Sometimes it sucks and that is why I posted the "rules" or whatever. I tried to let everyone know what was up, but everyone just insisted on making fun of me and being abusive towards me instead of just taking the advice.
But, as I said, none of that matters anymore.

I never cursed, or abused anyone in my posts.....I was just trying to clear some stuff up....It's annoying when people say false things about you, and you try to stick up for yourself, but instead your posts get deleted....Whatever....

Its also annoying that people keep dragging this on. I know it sucks when our posts get deleted. But sitting here health forum about it day after day isn't going to get our posts to come back, its going to make the mods want to delete them more, because all we're doing is health forum. How about we drop this already. Its the internet. Its not the end of the world when a post gets deleted.

Ummm, no. I can't just "drop it" when my a post that I make the time to say something in, gets deleted for no reason. I'm angry and frustrated, and want to vent about it. It shouldn't be going on, period. If you don't want to hear me vent about it, then just don't read this thread.....I don't complain anywhere else..

Its one thing to vent, and be mad. Its another to vent for days over it, and keep posting about it. This is a public board, so no, I will not 'ignore' it. Its getting old, and its obviously not changing much is it?

i agree it is a waste of energy to carry on arguments but it isn't going to stop when you have people who are still arguing over things said in other post so maybe we all need to stand back and start again on this board for it to progress further.
