Isn't it not good to drink diet sodas during pregnancy? Cause I remember my doctor telling me if I do drink any soda to try and make sure its caffeine free and not to drink diet at all. I dont remember them giving me a reason but i'm positive they told me that.

I read that it is not good to drink soda during your pregnancy (atleast not a lot) because of all the cafeine (i think I spelt that right?) :d I read that if you do drink soda it should be cafiene free. And to drink a lot of juices.

When I was preg with my 2 month old daughter, my doc said that preg women should limit their caffeine intake to 1-2 cups of coffee a day, and 1 cup of coffee has as much caffeine as 6 cups of soda.

I drink soda, but during my pregnancy I didn't. I don't even drink anything that has caffeine in it, and didn't when I was pregnant. I was a health nut when I was pregnant, it was pathetic.

Yeah, I heard you aren't suppose to drink diet, because of the aspartame? I think. But, if you guys have diet rite in your area it is really good. It is diet, caffeine free and is sweetened with splenda. They have lemon lime, cola, orange and some kind of raspberry, it is really yummy.

i know huh? Lol.

I never had any 'bad habits' like smoking, or drinking caffeine that I had to quit so I was thankful. I've always been pretty healthy. Eating veggies all the time, and excersising.

But my friend is pregnant and she smokes, and she cut down to just one a day, but she still has withdrawls I guess. Im so lucky I didn't have to do that.

I know, I tell her. If you only 'need' one cigarette a day then you really don't need any, anymore. Its your head playing games. Shes due in 4 weeks.
