Took baking soda to increase alkalinity after getting a urine ph reading of 6. Stopped taking baking soda after getting a reading of 7 after only a day or so.

Is there a maximum level of alkalinity beyond which one should not go?

Should one stop taking baking soda as soon as the urine ph reaches 7 or should one stop only when the swelling and pain stops?

Is it safe to keep taking baking soda, or to sprinkle it in food once in a while?
