What Exactly Is Tmj

Im 27 years old and a mother of two very little ones. I recently had and abortion followed by an ear infection and the flu and two bladder infection all wilthin a month. I have not been the same since. I have ear poping tention headach and severe shoulder and neck pain. My doctor thinks it maybe tmj from all the stresses of abortion and infections and taking care of a 9 month old and a two year old severly disable child. But I dont think I clench my teeth but then again im not sure. I also have jow pain anf face pain.
