Wait a couple days and see if it starts and then take a test if it doesn't. If you take a test be sure to do it first thing in the morning cuz that's when they work the best. Good luck!

take a test, it's the only way to know. But a negative does not put you in the clear 100%. False negatives are very common. Blood tests are best, they don't lie. Good luck!

true. One thing about hpts is they can give you false negs but almost never a false pos.

I'd say there's no reason to tell your parents unless you take a test and get a pos result.

If I take a hpt and it says negative, should I take another one to be sure? Do I have to take a blood test?

Some of the brands of hpt's out there come with 2 or 3 in the box. So you can take a test, and if it comes out negative you can wait a couple days and then test again....False positives are highly unlikely.

There's really no need to tell you parents untill you know for sure. Unless of course it really bothers you and you want to talk about it with them.
