It might be that your body isn't creating enough natural lubricant and then having sex creates friction, which is painful & causes redness and burning. Try using a lubricant like ky warming liquid or something like that. Maybe try longer foreplay.

that has happen to me before!! I can't seem to get wet some times. This might sound gross but my boyfriend spits on his weiner before he puts it in!!! Lol but if you do it for a while without any wetness it is going to be raw and swollen from all the friction!! It scared me bad when it happened to me but it went down by the next day!!
