I was ijured 3 years ago and now have cronic pain. I take oxycontin for pain control. Now every night when I lay down my sinus plugs up and I can't breath and it hurts so I get very little sleep max 1 hour. Once I get up it is fine. Can any one tell me why or what I can do about it. I am a 54 year old male.

Tmd Possibly?
I had the same problem 3 years ago. I was experiencing sinus problems alot. I went to the doctor for it and he x-rayed me and told me I have temporo mandibular disorder. You might wanna go to the doc again and see what he says.

I agree with mdw.. See about going to an ent doc and get a cat scan.. It could very well be a condition they can fix.

I ahve been to the Dr. Twice and both times he gave me nasal spray that don't help so I guess I should keep buging him. Yes?

Yes.. Ask for a ct of the sinuses.. That will help identify where the problem is.. If he won't give you one.. Find a new doctor!
