In diabetics, what cuases the above symptoms, what are they from and what can be done to alleviate them?

I have have been getting chills during sleep ...Sometimes with a burning sensation in the back area. I am type 2 diabetic. Could these symptoms be related to gall stones or liver problems?

Would appreciate some help.
