It is ucky when you let it grow back out(i call it the gross out stage) and it itches when you shave. Just my opinion.
Always,

My Opinion
It does itch when it starts growing back....If anyone finds a good cream to use for that, please let me know! But I did take the opinion of a lady on here who said to use the venus razor. I used it for the first time down there for v-day and I loved it! Really smooth, and no bad razor burn so far....Good luck!

Hi ladies.

It does not hurt to shave down there, however depending on how long it is it will help if you trimmed it down first. You don't have to shave it all off... Just keep it clean / show good hygiene.

It will not hurt to do, but razor burn or razor bumps can become irritating. If you use the venus razor for women, it will resolve this problem. Also if you do it while in a hot shower and use a proper lather, it will help too.

Good luck.

J

Hello ladies
i have been shaving me coco since I had hair on my thingy (which was about 5 years ago.
1. Leather it up really good.
2. Shave the top of it downwards
3. Shave the underneath upwards
i rinse and put lotion on it afterwards!! Baby butt soft!!

It is a good thing for me but your right I dont think I could ever grow my hair back!! I couldnt handle the itchyness of it!!

Hello, im 23 and I have always shaved down there , everything. At frist it hurts because the the skin around you area is sensitive. Use shaving cream and just start at the top and work yor way to the bottom, move your lips so you can get them too but, be careful . It sucks to cut your self ,you might have razor burn (little red cuts or bumps). But your boyfriend will love it

Yeah, it does hurt the first couple of times. Nothing major, but it does hurt.
I have used the venus razor and it sucks! I use a man's razor and it works great. Gillette sensor is what I use.
I haven't quit shaving once I started. I hate hair it is gross!

The more you do it, the easier it becomes. I always leave a little "patch" but I shave everything else. It seems so much more sanitary, and I like it when I feel so soft down there. As far as what direction to shave, you have to go against the direction it grows, and I would imagine it's different for everybody. The razor bumps come from not letting yourself soak in warm water long enough, and you need a very sharp razor. I use the gilette mach turbo, with three blades. Sometimes using perfumed shaving lotions only exacerbates razor bumps! Make sure you have let your "hair" soften enough before you shave...In other words, soak for a while in hot water. If your hair is long and bushy, it definitely helps to cut most of it off with scissors first. Once you gain confidence and start doing it, you will never go back! You get as quick at it as you do shaving your legs!

Good for you buddy, but many of us don't like hair! I would never, ever be hairy down there. It is unsanitary and disgusting.

Hey all, everyone was talking about what kind of razors to use, i've been shaving for a while and me and my fiance both love it, here's a tip.... Noxema makes a razor just for the bikini area, it has a moisturizing strip and it's not as wide as regular razors, it also has a guide on it so you don't get cut and I have not had a problem with razor burn since I started using them, good luck!

Forget the Razor Use Nair
Nair makes a great cream just for the bikini zone. Unlike shaving you won't need to do this more then once or twice a week. Just make sure you stear clear of the man in the boat!

Im 17 and I shave down their. I hate hair. The first few times u do it, it will hurt and itch but after that it doesnt hurt at all. And for me it doesnt itch when it grows back. It does only if I shave more then once a week I do it once a week with any razor with a aloe strip on it. Its soft and cleaned up.

I'm 19 and i've been shaving for 5 years...It gives me such bad razor burn if I shave more than once a week...It's a good thing my bf doesn't mind...I use the venus razor...It works great for getting rid of the hair, but whenever my underwear rub over where i've just shaved, the regrowth gets very irritated...What lotions are best?
