Not anymore, I already had my daughter. But of course everyone is going to be scared to do something that they know is painful no matter what, that they haven't experienced.

You'll be fine, you'll get through it, and you'll have your baby. Be scared, but don't stress yourself out about it because no matter what, you have to go through it, and it may not be as bad as you thought. Good luck though and im giving you good labor vibes.

Well I don't know for sure if I am pregnant yet. But I am still scared when I think about having the baby. For all the same reasons that you are. But I just keep think that once I give birth and see my little girl or boy. It will be the most happy day of my life. (i hope I am pregnant. Going to get a test tomorrow. Let you know when I find out anything)

I'm pretty nervous about giving birth too. Thing is ever since I started to show it's like other girls and women and barely even know have felt like they had to tell me scary stories about how they were in labor forever and how horrible it was. Then they add "but it's all worth it once you hold your little own and you forget all about how bad it was." I wanna say "if you forget about it how come you're telling me all this now like you remember it so well?" the main thing i'm nervous about is labor contractions and all. I see shows like "baby story" and "birth story" and I can't help going omg but I also can't help watching them and thinking that's gonna be me in about 15 weeks. The other thing i'm nervous about is is my water breaks when i'm someplace like at school. But I keep telling myself girls have been doing this for years and years and now its my turn, and i'll get thru it the same as everyone else. Anyway, good luck to all the other pregnant mommies.

Im sure it wont be as bad as your imagining it to be.

I was never really scared of the pain, but everyone told me i'd be asking for an epidural... I did it without any pain relief though.
Having my baby girl is the most acomplishing thing I have ever ever done, and even though I know its just as rewarding having a baby with pain releif as it is having a baby without.. I feel so proud of myself, and good about the birth for going without any.

To be honest, as far as I now remember, it wasnt all that painful. My lil brother cutting my finger off with a gardening spade was more painful..

It will be diffrent for everyone, and unfortunatly, I cant send anyone my easy labour.

Okay, I remember one of my good friends telling me this like when we were just like 12 or something.....So you can't laugh!!

She always told me that she wouldn't be scared of the pain a giving birth because she comares it to taking a poop. When your taking a poop you feel all uncomfortable and all stressed and push and push to get it out, and when it finally comes out, it's such a relief and you forget about all the struggle you were just in....

Omg I can't believe i'm actually posting this story, but maybe it will help some of you!! Or just give you a good laugh :)

Okay I have given birth twice, im still alive (most women are, I wouldn't stress if you live in a "developed" country.
I did poop on the table, I also got black eyes from broken blood vessels. But who will know? Who cares? Your kid? They won't remember I gurantee it. Your child's father? If he does, he needs to check himself. The doctors and nurses? They've seen it before!
The pain is not that bad!

My first child was not a good delivery. 3.5 years later I delivered my twins.
If something was wrong with the baby and you have been going in for regular visits to your gyno. Something would be detected. The chances of having a healthy baby far, far outweigh the chance s of not.
As far as the pain, it may seem silly but I realized that the easiest minutes of my labor was when the midwife guided me with my breathing.
Something so important you'd never know. I wish I would have been educated how to breath during labor, she must have thought I had an idea beacause she didn't stay with me on it. I went through hours, upon hours of pain but said again, the minutes she spent breathin with me, showing me how to breath was a bigger help than my epidural.
Good luck!!!
You'll do just find and the reward far outweighs the work!!!!!!

When I had my son, my water broke in bed right before I woke up in the morning. I was excited because I knew it wouldn't be long until I delivered. Then contractions started and I tried to stay focused on how awesome the female body is, and the contractions are your body guiding the baby out. The pain was intense but you know it has a purpose. I wish I had tried water birth because they say the warm water really lessens the pain. Once you feel pain, remember to try different positions. In my case, I couldn't lie down, especially not on my back. Try different positions and listen to your body! If you feel better seated, or leaning over or on your hands and knees, whatever, just stay in that position. Modern medicine is amazing and you and your baby will be fine. Every woman who has a baby has gone through it, mother nature will get you through it too! Good luck and best wishes.
