Hi, I have a question, cause i'm a little confussed about all this. Anyway, here's the story: my girlfriend has been on ortho....21 day for about 4 months now. In december, in her 3rd week, she forgot to take 3 pills, as she forgot them at home on her dresser, and so she couldn't take them, when she got home, she took the pills on the day of the 3rd pill she missed, so she took one on the 27th, miss, miss, and on the 30th, she took them all. Then, because she missed those, she had light bleeding, until she took the pills again. When it was timef or her period, she had her period on time, except she said it was lighter as well, but it still lasted her reg. Time. Now a month later, today is her due date, and she has taken all her pills faithfully. I am slightly worried, but any answers would be good to know, thanks.

Btw, we had sex on the 26th.

There shouldn't be any problems.. She had her period on time last month so there would be little reason to suspect she's pregnant or anything. Since she took the pills regularly this month she should have her period regularly.. Although it is possible for it to be a little bit off. I would say though that what she does need to do is to read the directions on her birth control. She shouldn't have taken all three in one day.. That can mess you up (hence why she had bleeding and an irregular period). They usually tell you to take them over a few days.. And often if you miss 3 days you should start a new pack. It's different for each brand.

Thanks, she told me that she had her period on time, last night, and yeah, I know that she wasn't supposed to take those 3 now, thanks for the advice though.
