Is Vaginal Discharge Normal? Posted: 02-07-05 22:53pm
I have a small amount of vaginal discharge
everyday. I'm 28 and i've had it for a
least 12 years. It does have a slight
odor but not bad. It is white and I
usually have about a nickel size on my
panties everyday. I always thought this
was normal. I have 2 toddlers and I go
for yearly check-ups so if it was
something abnormal wouldn't my doctor say
something? Someone told me once that when
you start to have or think about sex this
happens. I don't think about or have sex
all the time.
I have no itching or burning with it.
I have tried douching and not douching. I
only wear loose cotton panties. I did
have a yeast infection once after having a
anitbiotic for strepp throat so I know
what it feels like.
Any answers or solutions anyone can give
me I would appreciate greatly.

Vaginal disharge is very normal and if you
did have something the doctor is suppose
to tell you. Not all yeast infections are
the same so if the first time you got a
yeast and it itch and burn, it doesn't
have to happen the same way the next
time...I know alot of people who have had
a yeast and had no kind of symtoms meaning
no itching,no strange or foul smell, and
their vaginal discharge did not change in
texture. Also I have read that the vagina
is self-cleansing so it unnecessary to
douche. So if you think that you have a
yeast you should go to the doctor to make
sure everything is ok.
