i have been taking the contraception injection depo-prevera for about 7 months now. The first 5 months, I had no period at all. For the last two months I have been having tummy cramps and bleeding vertually everyday. I also like to have a beer most nights (1-2 cans) and I was wondering if anyone thinks this is causing my tumm cramps and bleeding? I have always liked a beer (i sound like a right alcoholic, I am not!!) has anyone else had any trouble with the injection? I am slightly worried as, like I said, the first 5 months I have been totally fine with it. Last two months, I have been aching like mad!! Also, last couple of times having sex, my stomache has cramped up that much I am nearly crying with the pain. Help/advice anyone!!!

Idk since it was fine for the first five months. I had problems from the very beginning with depo. I never got a period, but spotted for weeks at a time.

It sounds like you may want to check with your doctor. I doubt it's the beer. I was on depo for 9 months last year. I went off because of the bad acne it gave me. For me, I had 2 - 3 months of bleeding in the beginning and then never had a period afterwards. It may affect people differently, but it never hurts to call the doctor and ask.
