Q: Marijuana + Cigerettes Lethal???

Background ::
before college I was very active and never smoked anything... College hit and I started smoking in 2000... I've been smoking cigerettes (less than half a pack a day)... But since this past summer (04) I also have been smoking marijuana daily... I have prolly missed a combined 10 days of not smoking marijuan....

Right now I have pains and its no longer fun when im high... Im constantly paranoid about my health... Reading alot of statistics and being extremely worried about my health I decided to quit both...

I dont know too much about my health... I havent been to a real dr in years to get a real check up (i'm korean myself and so I have been to many korean drs but they generalize too much and dont take me for me)... All I know is that my body definately doesnt feel too healthy...

Question::
i am 23 years old... I was wondering if I am too young to get lung cancer...Although he recommended me to jus quit, the last dr that I visited had told me not to worry because im young... Sounds like bs to me...

I get sharp pains once in a while where I involuntarily try to grab my chest... Before I actually reach my chest, the pains go away... Should people be getting these short strong pains as a side affect of smoking?

I have been too ignorant on too many things in my life... I cant be ignorant about my life anymore...Please respond with as much info as possible (even though I barely gave enough to understand my case)

Cancer No.
Im not a doctor.
But, I have my opinion on this.
One, marijuana people think oh a great drug doesnt screw with my head or anything im so good.
WRONG, it screws with alot of your body, makes your immune system weak, increases your chance of having a deformed child because it screws with your sperm and cigerettes can have horrible long term effects, did you know it actually causes irreversible blindness. Im glad you quit, you dont have lung cancer, when you start believing in your bodys pains, your body often tricks the mind into them getting worse or spreading.Your probly fine but, you could go to a doctor and ask for a chest xray just to make sure.
