Q: Im Scared People....

Okay heres the deal. I had unprotected sex on saturday night and well im scared. I started my period the day I had unprotected sex and people are telling me that I should be alright but I just want a better peice of mind and hope that I am no pregnant. I am not ready to have a baby or anyhting thing like that. I just started college last sememster and I can not take care of something ese jst need to make sure. Cause hte lady at the pharmacy told me that I should be okay with it cause I am on the pill and I started my period, but I am still scared... So eah im still on my period and dont know what to do and I have already started a new pack of birth control pills. Can you guys help me?

You really should not worry.. Your chances of being pregnant are one in a zabillion. (or maybe not quite that high)

but keep in mind that you're on the pill, and if you're on your period then your egg is no longer fertile and has been dropped.

Your highest chance of getting pregnant is the time opposite your period. (the middle of your non-period time). Which is when you are most fertile. You started your period so your chances of even being fertile or able to get pregnant are slim.

However, this is still not an excuse for unprotected sex... Don't forget about std's.

Thanks for your reply it helped me a lot. But I just needed to hear it again. But yeah anyways. Tahnks for your reply again. Ha well im off to do some homework for class tomorrow...Yeah I know the unprotected sex thing was wrong but yeah anyways thanks again.
