My dad has suffered for the past two years from a really nast cough, its irritated when he is stressed and it really watery and chesty. He had a heart attack not so long ago and its only now that the doctors are taking his cough seriously, my parents are being really shadie and wont let me know whats going on. I know they are both really worried and have been stressing alot. Dad is going for a scan (i think I heard them mention cbt? But I could be wrong). They didnt tell me about the heart attack at first, it wasnt until I realised that when we visited him he was in intensive care and the nurse mentioned it....I was told it was 'a bit of angina!'.

Does anyone know if this cough could be a sign and does anyone recognise the type of scan it is?
