For the past 4 months my 12 yr old son has been dealing w/ bouts of

fainting, lightheadedness/vertigo? Each occurance has been while seated at school.

Tests he's taken to date: tilt table, stress, mri, eeg, ekg

echocardiogram, blood sugar. Of these, the tilt test induced fainting

but the cardiologist informed me that there was no change in my son's

blood pressure or heart rate.

When symptoms flare up at home it's usually when he awakens in the morning.

His condition doesn,'t affect him participating in normal activities.

Fainting Son
Hi there,
i would suggest going to a natropath, but do your homework...I go to a natrotherapist that actuall looks at your blood under a microscope. (it s amazing what it can tell you)
has his diet changed at all in the last 4 months and is it only at school?
I would also check with the principal to see if there are any other kids feeling like this...Get the question out there!
Mybe a mold or formaldehyde issue??
Look at all angles...Hope this helps...Let me know what you discover.

Fainting Son
Sorry to hear about your son. My daughter was having the same symtops
her diagnosis was hyper thyroidism. She was also fainting at school,
weak, and over all under the weather. It became worse during testing time or when she was stressed. She is being treated with medicine.
She saw an endorcranologist, he did indepth blood work and did
an mri scan on her brain. That is when the discover of a tumor on the
base of her thyroid was made. Since then she has had an mri every year
and now attends college. Hope this helps.
