i took my daughter to the doctor today and they said that she had knots in her lymph nodes and in her arms. She has a slight kidney infection also. They sent her to do blood work and xrays and have a specialist coming in to check her. However I am very worried. I have 7 kids and sometimes forgot things that i shouldn't forget or a normal mother wouldn't forget. My daughter was sick also in April with a sever ear infection and cold. she also had knots in her lymph nodes then. the doctors gave her an antibiotic and told me to keep check on the the lymph nodes and if the knots didn't go away to bring her back. I can't remember if i checked them or not. I feel like a failure right now as a mother. I am so worried that if i didn't check her then that they never went away and now have moved to her arm. Has anyone ever been told that their 6 year old child had knots in their lymph nodes and arms? how has the out come been? what should i expect to happen and should i be worried like i am? the blood work came back that she has an infection but wouldn't the infection show up from her kidney infection in the blood work. and if so then the infection from the kidneys shouldn't make her lymph nodes enlarge should it? HELP PLEASE I AM SO DESPARATE RIGHT NOW. I AM BLAMING MYSELF FOR THIS HAPPENING TO MY DAUGHTER... THANKS FOR ANY COMMENTS ON THIS.

i had my ear pierced a couple of months ago, 2 in the left and one in the right. I remove them and started to feel a lump growing in each pierced hole that has now closed up. this has been the case for the past 4 months now. I have done research and found out that the lumps are lymph nodes. how do I get rid of these lumps asap so that my ears can be re-pierced?
