Bumpy Pimples In Pubic Area
Posted: 02-01-05 13:35pm

For some time now, I have been having little bumps like pimples in the pubic area. After a day or so, it bursts like acne. Sometime there is blood mostly no blood.
It has become a big worry for me as I do not know if this is some kind of std.
:? Kinda confused and worried.

I went to the doctor for these little white bumps and he said they were prominent sebaceous glands. I'm pretty sure it's nothing, but do not take my word for it. Go to a doctor.

Not to scare you, but what you describe sounds like herpes. Pimples don't bleed when they bust on their own, but herpes does. You need to get checked now!

Bigman, do they hurt when you brush them or pinch them lightly? Do you get a 'tingling' feeling before they show up? Those r some of the herpes signs. If not- maybe just a dermatology problem.

Sounds like inflamed acne (like boils) if you didn't have sex before they showed up that's prob. What it is. You should get it checked just in case because herpes can spread by other contact too- like off you hands. But since it's prob. Not herpes, the doc can prescribe this cream to rub on it that makes them heal a lot faster than the otc meds. The prescription has both hydrocortizone and the drying agent found in oxycream as well as a topical anti-inflamitory. If they are staying around more than 10 days-that's prob. What it is.
