Q: 5 Weeks Pregnant And Bleeding.....?

My friend is 5 weeks pregnant, she told me she woke up yesterday morning and was bleeding, she said it was light (much lighter than a period) but it still had some of the thicker parts of blood that a period has, and very light cramping (nothing compared to the cramping she got with her period) she doesn't know what this is..... Does anyone else know what it could be? Please reply soon!!!

Some light bleeding is normal during pregnancy but it also could be a sign of miscarriage. You need to tell her to call her doctor! Let me know what happens.

When you say light bleeding do you only mean that brownish color I hear so much about or can it also be pink to red color also?

It can also be pink or red, that is normal. Is she still bleeding? Did she call her doctor?
