Q: Doctor recommendations

I had a wonderful doctor in Michigan where my accident happened that replaced my ACL's and since I have moved to Chicago, IL. I have had two different orthaepedic doctors, but they came along with my choice of MD as a referral in my HMO plan, so I have not had to make any real choices. Now I know much of my recovery will depend on decisions of the doctor I choose. There is no doubt the replacements are necessary, I just don't know where to begin to make an educated choice on who should perform the surgeries. I understand this forum is all personal opinions, but I would be open to hear from anyone that might know resources I can review for myself to help with my choice or even personal experiences you had with TKR in my area. I currently have my surgery set for Jan with much to decide in the meantime. Thanks for any directions.
