Could I Have Gotten Pregnant?
Posted: 10-30-03 14:57pm

Ok well a couple weeks ago I changed the brand of pill I was using because I started to get migraines. The dr told me to stop taking the new one if I started to experience them again. I did, Question so I stopped taking them 4 pills into the pack. About 4 or 5 days later me and my bf had sex, but the condom broke (it wasn't lubed with spermicide). That happened around the same time I should have ovulated naturally (about 14 days after the start of my last period) I was wondering what the chances are that I could have gotten pregnant? I spotted a little yesterday and a tiny bit the day before but not enough to be considered break through bleeding from a hormonal imbalance. The condom break occured like 5 days ago so i'm not sure if the bleeding was a sign of pregnancy or not. Anyone have advice?

You definitely could be pregnant if you quit taking your birth control. The bleeding probably isn't a sign of bleeding though since it occured so soon after you had sex. It takes about 6-12 days after ovulation for the egg to start implanting in the uterus (which is the cause of implantation bleeding when you are pregnant). I hope this helped. Let me know how it turns out!

Oops! I meant to say the bleeding probably isn't a sign of pregnancy!
