I went to the doctor today and had a
discussion about the jerking muscles.
1) they are common among autoimmune
patients.
2) unfortunately, they are common among
other issues as well, including heart
disease and kidney disease. They can be
caused by many things...(as clarebear
said) a shortage of magnesium, potassium,
and a host of other things.
3) if you have them, you need to tell
your doctor so that the source of them can
be correctly determined.
4) a good otc supplement, vitamin e, may
help with them. Take the vitamin e at
night if your muscle twitches are worse at
night.
5) if you are on cellcept, do *not* take
them together (i.E. At the same time).
This is what I found out...I look forward
to reading what the rest of you guys hear
from your doctors! I hope this helps in
some way!
Yeah yeah sam43 I just called over the
weekend and most likely will see my
rheummy later this week or early on next
week about those vibrations of mine.
Just wanted to keep you posted. It's a
little worse now but i'm not having any
grand mal seizures or anything.
