I am a new mum to be being almost 7 weeks
pregnant. I had my first scan yesterday
and my baby's heart rate was very low at
46bpm and there was some internal bleeding
where the embryonic sac appears to be
coming away from the uterus wall. Could
the corpus luteal cyst have anything to do
with my baby not being the healthiest????
Has anyone had an experience like this?
here is some info that I found on your
diagnosis, but nothing saying that it is
the cause for the low heart rate. You
might have something called placenta
previa that is causing the baby to detach
from the uterine wall. Kit and let me
know how you are doing and you and your
baby are in my prayers

Thanks for your prayers. I think we need
them. I have had a really bad day today
and can't even keep water down. I have
never been sick so many times in my life
so I am going to see my doctor a day early
and go tomorrow. I will keep you
informed.

Hi lichelock
i'm in my 9th week and about 2 weeks ago
had severe cramps and bleeding...But at
the emergency room they confirmed that the
embryo was still attached and my cervics
was closed...Since then i've been at home
lying around and taking it easy. I also
have a ovarian cyst but apparently it
doesn't cause any problems for my
pregnancy ...The cyst is due to an
overstimulation of hormones. The doctor
prescribed me utrogestan...It's a
progresterone medicine that stops cramping
and helps against miscarriages.
Even if the umbiblical cord is coming
loose, it can reaffirm its attachment by
your staying calm, lying down a lot and
sleeping specifically on your left
side..Apparently this position helps the
embryo breathe better and thus take up
more oxygen and thus breathe stronger and
have a stronger heart beat!
In the first trimester we have a high
level of progresterone and this also makes
the embryo sleep more and thus have a
slower heartbeat...Any way at 7 weeks, the
little one is still muniscule (mine was
only 12 mm at 7 weeks) and nature knows
what its doing (i hope;-))
in terms of throwing up...I'm not throwing
up but can't stomach water!! I'm seeing
my specialist tomorrow...And getting a 3rd
u/s so hopefully he'll give me advice for
the heartburn and nausea...
I'll keep my fingers crossed for you two
because I know how it feels to worry and
not know if everything is fine...

I had the cysts while pregnant...But they
didn't do any harm to me...I don't want to
say "yes they have nothing to do with it"
but I know I shoulnd't, cause that could
be wrong. Good luck hun!!
