I am due today and in a lot of pain because of pressure in my pelvic. I can hardly walk anymore. Does anyone suggest castor oil in small doses?

Over Due
I went over due by 2 weeks...
I was so pissed by the end of it, I went to the hospital on the 13th day...And told the doctor, that I was up puking all night, and had a massive headache....They decided to induce me, because they were afraid I would be dehyrdrated..And it would harm the baby.....

Thank goodness....I probably would still be pregnant today if I haddened done it...

My baby was due april 1...And he came the 13th.........

Disagree
I disagree there because castor oil did work for me on my first and it did start contractions on my second but sadley they stopped but honestly I put that down to not drinking enough of it because I went to put it to my mouth and started heaving so I only managed to get a mouth full at the most down my neck

I wouldn't ingest anything. Try other methods such as lower back massages or sitting in a warm bath. Another great method to "home" inducing is to have a very agreesive pedicure. There are certain pressure points in your ankles that can trigger contractions. This has been known to put a few of my friends in labor. Most salons won't give you a spa pedicure if your not at least 38 weeks along due to the liability of triggering early labor. And even though it's uncomfortable, do as much walking as you can tolerate. Trust me, I know it's uncomfortable. I carried my first 41 weeks and my second was cesarean. After the first, I was told that my pelvis was too small, so it can be very uncomfortable. Good luck!

They told my daughter cranberry tea, to open the cervix. Her cervix never opened even in full labor--emergency c/s. So for most girls prolly does work??

Sex Worked For Me
I was like 37 weeks pregnant and I was ready for it to be over with. Well I was standing at work one day and a co worker came up to me and told me to go home and have sex cause it triggers the baby to contract. So I did and I got off work about 5 went home had sex and was contracting 2-3 mins apart at 10 that night. Worked for me.
