Q: Could I Be Pregnant?

I'm spending this month at home, studying for an exam, so I have nothing to take my mind off of this... It's driving me crazy!

My husband and I have been trying for five or six months, not always diligently. I was monitoring my fertility using one of those ovulation microscopes, but i've gotten out of the habit of using it lately. Still, when I was using it, I found that I was generally ovulating right before my period. Which happens about once a month... It's pretty irregular, but when it decides to follow a pattern for a while, it's usually around 33 days. Not that it matters; it's hasn't been regular lately.

I had a very light period that lasted over a week, and then my husband and I had sex. The next day, it came back, and it was very light for less than a week. Then we had sex monday the 24th and tuesday the 25th. Wednesday, my breasts started to feel sore, and thursday it was more pronounced. Still sore as of today, and breast tenderness is unusual for me. I think i've experienced it one other time in my life, maybe five years ago. I took a pregnancy test on friday. I must not have been thinking about it because I know it was too early. Not a big deal though; I buy them at the dollar store... And i've taken so many with no symptoms at all; at least this on was justified. Anyway, i've been having spotting since yesterday, ranging from pink/red to brown, and from almost non-existent to light, but never enough to actually stain my underwear. Spotting is very normal for me, but only attached to the beginning or end of my period. This is much too early to be a "regular" period, and when they're irregular, they're always farther apart, not closer together, so i'm wondering if this could be implantation spotting. Not accompanied by cramps at all, but then, my period isn't either.

So far, no other signs, except cramping and backache during and after orgasm yesterday... And I was shocked when I read last night that cramping and backache during and after orgasm is something that happens during pregnancy. I had no idea...

Anyway... Hopefully I can keep my mind on studying now. As far as a pregnancy test goes, I guess I can take one in a week. I'd love to do an early one, but as I have absolutely no idea when my period should be, I guess that's not an option.

Insight or... Whatever... appreciated!

Yes you could be pregnant. I say going ahead and take a early hpt. It would never hurt. Unless you think you don't have the money to buy one right now. But if you really think that you might be pregnant. I would go ahead and take a test.
