Hi can anyone help me, I am not sure if this is anxiety or not. I have been really compulsive about things like cleaning, and so on. I get really hot and my heart starts beating sometimes when I get too stressed about things in my life and then I start to do these odd things to take my mind off of it. Thanks for you suggestions or help

Extremely eHealthy
Hi there, it very well could be anxiety, are you generally hyper. Don't forget, breathe, breathe, breathe. Try to sit down and listen to some relaxing music. Yoga is great for this.

The very best to you,
sincerely,
sandy

Hi ya!

I used to suffer really badly from anxiety and pannic attacks. Its a feeling like you have drunk about 20 cups of coffee, you get hot, hearts racing and you feel like somthing really bad is going to happen (in my case I always thought I was having a heart attack), I would get to the point when I would hyperventilate (spelt right?!) and I would get pins and needles in my lips, hands and feet, my fingers would start to curl in and I would be on the floor! (thats at my very very worst!), for me the pannic attacks was the final blow but what was worst for me was the anxiety, you feel nervous and on edge, your hearing goes a bit funny and its like your in your own little bubble. Anyways, thats the best that I can explain it. There are things you can do though, my case was quite extreme and its did affect me for a few years which is why I understand how much it can control your life. It is worth seeing your doctor just so they can reassure you that theres nothing wrong with you! But in my experience perscribed drugs from my doctor made me feel worse, I took anti-depressants, diazapan, valium and all of these made me feel even more anxious. I found that natural herbal remedies helped me alot, I drank camomile tea (its a natural herb that relaxes you) and got some herbal tablets called quiet life, they dont make you drowsy or feel 'different' they just help to settle you when you are feeling nervous or stressed (apparently they are commonly used to help before you take a driving test!).

Hope this helps, if you need any more advise, feel free to pm.

Sarah
