Q: the Pill And Alcohol

Does alcohol lower the effictiveness of the pill? My friends and I went out to a party and they were drinking. I wasn't because I am pregnant. My friend and her boyfriend then went and had sex but didn't use a condom because they weren't thinking and they were both drunk. She then later forgot to take her pill for the day. Would that increase her chance for pregnancy or is she okay??

Yes if you miss a pill one day it can increase the chance of getting pregnant...But that mainly depends on what day you are in your cycle....
