I Don't Want to Be Here, But I Have Questions

I'm 32. I'll just cut to the chase.
I've had a lot of weird symptoms most of
my life, but always figured they were
individual cases. Now i'm beginning to
look at them as a whole and wondering if I
have ms. Hopefully someone here can help
me.
-when I was about 20, my lip went numb.
-it's not unusual for a couple of my
fingers on my right hand to go numb once
in a while.
-my toes have gone numb and are super
sensitive to the cold.
-my inner thighs have gone numb
recently.
-i have this black spot in my left eye
that drives me crazy.
-a couple of years ago I had a horrific
experience. I was in excruciating pain
about every 2 hours. It started under my
sternum and radiated around to my back.
They never figured out what it was. It
lasted about 2-3 months. It finally went
away w/ the help of prayer and
accupuncture.
-yesterday I woke up and it felt like a
muscle going from my neck to the top of my
head (left side) was spasming. My eyes
were also jumping and twitching. It
hurt.
-recently i've been "seeing" things out of
the corner of my eyes.
-i also have this "pain" from my right
shoulder blade that feels like it's
tightening around to my ribs.
-i have periods of extreme fatigue.
Do these symptoms sound anything like ms?
Thank you for your help.

I wondered if you came up with any
diagnosis? I have nearly every symtpom
you have and even had a strange spasm in
my guts (upper stomache) which lead to
gallbladder removal. The pathology
report came back and it was normal...Not
gallbladder disease, no stones, no sludge.
Still dealing with symptoms. I am 35
year old female. Seven children. High
blood pressure, but other wise healthy not
counting the strange symptoms. Corner of
eye "cob webs" in left eye. Left pinky
on hand goes numb. Left foot goes numb,
little man with an ice pick on the tip of
my nose (thats what it feels like) and
tons of forgetfulness. Really bad. I
thought it was a "thirty something"
sypmtom. But after 3 years and after
surgery and tons of tests, I am beginning
to wonder. Did you get tested?

I have the same kind of symptoms. My
thumb and my index finger are numb right
now on my right hand and my upper lip is
numb, I also feel tightness from my
shoulder down to my wrist. Ive been
taking prednisone (not recommended cause
of other major side-effects).
There is nothing worse than feeling better
for several months and all of the sudden
one morning you feel "something" happening
again. I know i'm not going to let this
get the best of me.....

About These Strange Symptoms

I am still struggling with same
thing...But wanted to post this as a
possibility. I have found that my water
has lead in it. We had our well pump
replaced and it is regulations to have it
tested. I had to have our kids (all
seven) tested for poisoning. They were
all negative thank the lord. However,
before we had them tested I began looking
up symptoms and some of these symptoms
fall right in line with lead poisoning.
I am not tested yet but will be soon. I
will post the results when I do.
Currently my symptoms are a tiny man
picking on the tip of my nose with an ice
pick...Strange but thats what it feels
like. And also a sensation of warmth on
my head that is wet. Numbness comes and
goes. Its all very frustrating.

When I was a kid, I had a friend who's mom
had ms. I always remember thinking to
myself, man I feel terrible for her, I
hope that never happens to me. Life is
grand isnt it? What you said about the
lead poisoning, I never thought of that
before... It does make sense.. In high
school someone poked me in the arm with a
pencil and the lead is still in there...
I wonder if that can be part of it too.
I wish you the best of luck with your
tests!!!

I am almost 57, I was just diagnosised in
2000. You need to have several testes
done and sometimes that won't be enough.
A catscan, an mri and other tests from a
neuro. But, if you don't get a diagnosis
right away don't give up. I may have had
symptoms many years ago, but not until
2000 when half of my body went numb did a
doctor put me in for tests. It can be
many other auto-immune diseases, but you
need to get tests done to rule all other
auto-immune diseases. Do not give up.
You know your own body, keep pushing for
tests and answers. Good luck and god
bless

I know, you're right. Right after the
spinal tap (6 yrs ago) I lost my job and
of course I had no more insurance. I had
to make due with prednisone for a long
time. Unfortunately the economy sucks
and i've only been doing contract work.
It's too expensive getting insurane on my
own. I'm a newlywed for about a year and
about to hop on my wife's insurance plan..
I will resume testing asap. But I am
skeptic that they will not accept a
pre-existing condition.

There must be a way for you to get some
assistance from the state. Hospitals
have ways for people to get care or even a
free clinic. I will be thinking of you
and keeping my fingers crossed. Don't
give up.
Sandy

Question, where does one get tested for
vitamin d deficiency? Can I just go to
the local hospital or medical center or
can a family doctor run that test?

Ms And Other Autoimmune Diseases

There are more than 80 autoimmune
diseases, each with their own list of
symptoms. I currently have 4 different
autoimmune diseases - chronic fatigue,
fibromyalgia, sjogren's and multiple
chemical sensitivities. It took 13 years
before they confirmed the sjogren's.
Oftentimes autoimmune disease will go
undetected forever because it comes and
goes. It can be similar to taking your
car to the mechanic because it's making a
noise that is driving you nuts, then when
the mechanic gets under the hood, s/he
can't find anything wrong. It can be very
frustrating and people oftentimes begin to
feel as if they are hypochondriacs and
that the symptoms are all in their head.
Each of you have listed symptoms that most
certainly could be an autoimmune disease.
Autoimmunity symptoms can be managed
through dietary changes and nutritional
supplements.
We host a free autoimmunity teleseminar
every wednesday evening. My business
partner has spent over 17 years
researching autoimmune disease after being
diagnosed with epstein-barr. She is a
wealth of information and has assisted me
greatly in managing my symptoms. If you
would like to know more about the
teleseminar, please visit http://healthydivas.Co
m/teleseminar.Html. We do not promote
products. This is an information seminar
only.
If you have specific questions, please
feel free to pm me. I will be happy to
assist you and provide you with additional
resources.
All the best,
kathy browning
