Been to doctors and he seems to think it is some kind of bacterial infection and the blood was from a burst blood vessel in my throat area.

Put me on anti-biotics for a week.....

So we will soon see.

For 2 years my husband has experienced blood in his mouth early morning. It rarely occurs during the day. He has had numerous tests, some several times such as: bronscoscopy, egd, colonoscopy, visits to ent's, cat scan of the chest. No one has been able to find where the blood is coming from. He does take coumadin plus several other meds.

He has the taste of blood in his mouth all the time and now his tongue burns and he has some blisters on the tongue. His breath is just awful. The taste of blood goes away after eating but within a few minutes returns.

He has seen his primary doctor, pulmologist, gastroenterologist, dentist, ent and cardiologist.

Any ideas of where to go next next would be greatly appreciated.

Did antibiotics work? I face exactly the same problem. Nothing showed uo in the endoscopy but I get a drop of blood in the morning. What antibiotics did you take?

blood from my throat through the night and morning!

i have doctors looking into it atm -

I put it down to a number of things!

1: ulcer in stomach!
2: SMOKE??????
3: medications such as Anti-inflammatory such as ibuprofen

all of these are serious - Bleeding through the night and always tasting it is a serious matter - its a shame no one seems to understand when you tell them!

i have had tests, baring meals - x- rays and im stumped -

i suggest anyone who smokes to quit and live a healthy life style - even stress and ruin your body!

my father yesterday waked up at night with bleeding from his mouth actually from his throat i want to ask what might be the cause?

My papa is 44 yrs old. and woke up with alot of blood on his pillow. and dried blood on his cheek and in his ear (not in the tunnel). He went to the dentist on Wednesday but it is Friday morning and i am not so sure where the blood came from. but if it from ear or the mouth should I make him go to the doctors?

I bleed every night and wake up every morning witha mouth print (how sick) of blood!!! I am 43. I think it is because I have sleep apnea, and I do not treat it! Am I right??? My doctor has no idea why. I wish there was someone who knew why. I am 30 pounds overweight! Maybe drop the stupid 30 pounds and the bleeding will stop??? Anybody?
