I had nose bleeds because of high blood
pressure for awhile, but if u had high
blood pressure im sure that wouls have
been picked up on by now
i had quite a few at the begining of my
pregnancy, but that was coz all the extra
blood in my body. And my nose has been
pretty stuffy all through my pregnancy,
and if I give it a good blow, occasionaly
I will have a nose bleed. Also if I cry
alot. Im also 35 weeks preg.
Im not too sure why u getting nose bleeds,
do you think you bash your nose while your
asleep?
Hope it helps.

You can have nose bleeds as well becuase
of the humidity as well as the heat/dry
air. What you can do to help is get some
vaseline before you go to bed and put it
on the wall of your nose inside and
believe me it will help. My doctor rold
me to do this and it helped me. I hope it
works for you

Right before I found out I was pregnant, I
was at my house in prescott valley...Cause
I had left my bf, and moved out of town,
the weather change got me I guess, and one
morning I woke up and I looked in the
mirror I had blood smeared around my face,
and I was like omg and I woke up my
roomate, it was pouring out like a faucet,
and it didnt stop for like 2 hours, I had
to work...Back in the other town (long
drive), and they were gunna make me go to
the er cause it was soo heavy bleeding.
It pissed me off the most though cause I
had just got this cool ninja turtle
pillow, and I bled on it. :(:(:(

this whole past week whenever I blow my

probably just be the cold dry weather~but

bloody noses are like waking up for me!!!
I get probably 4 or 5 a week mostly when
I wake up at some point. It sucks!!!
It's been happening since like week 8 and
still is. Is it not normal to still get
them and heavily at times at 24 weeks?!
Should I mention it to the
doc? |
i would. Have you tried anything to stop
them?

I read in my pregnancy book that nose
bleeds a common. The bloodvessels in our
noses are very fragile and during
pregnancy our bloodcirculation is stronger
to better feed the embryo. So more
little bloodvessels pop in the nose...Not
much can be done...But it will pass;-)
hope it helps;-)

I get nose bleeds all the time now too!!!
And I think i'm pregnant... Like a lot of
people on here... I haven't had a nose
bleed since like kindergarden... And now
everytime I gently touch my nose ( on the
outside... Hahaha) it bleeds... I
dunno... Maybe its because of pregnancy
after all... But I must say... Its
nasty... Hahaha!!!

I've never really had a nose bleed but I
do have blood when I blow my nose in the
morning. Very dry here with it being so
cold lately. I had the humidifier on for
a couple of days but it didn't help much..

Sorry jlee it comes from attendre bebe by
dr rené frydman...I'm in france and so I
have french pregnancy books.
I must say the books and you lot are
really my lifesaver..Especially because in
my family last year both my sisters-in-law
miscarried at 4/5 months and so nobody
wants to talk about my pregnancy.
Moreover, with in vitro, miscarriages are
higher and so even my specialist doesn't
want to declare my pregnany yet even
though i'm in my 3rd month now (9 weeks)
and I still haven't had my first long
interview with my gynecologist yet.
I have another appointment with my
specialist today and he'll do another
quick u/s but i'm not worried because if I
feel so nauseous the whole time...It means
that the embryo is still there and doing
well ;-)
ladies, I hope you all have a lovely zen
nauseous free day;-)
