I had been taking depo for about 6 years and recently stopped taking it 7/04. I finally had a peroid 12/23/04 (for 4 days). I have not yet had another one and I am playing a guessing game everyday rather or not I am going to start. Is this normal or when can I expect to have one. Also I will be getting married soon and want to start a family, will any of this cause a problem for me when I try to become pregnant???

I stopped taking the depo in april of last year. And me and my hubsand is trying to have a baby and we haven't getting pregnant yet. But that doesn't mean that you won't sometime soon. My periods is just now getting back to normal. At least I think it is. But before I started taking the depo my periods was never normal. So I really don't know what is normal. But I guess what I am trying to say is that everybody is different. You could become pregnant soon or you may not.
