I'm Confused! Help!
Posted: 01-29-05 14:15pm

Ok, I just took an e.P.T. Pregnancy test and it had one line to show up (negative) but the line was very faint. The line in the square window to show that I had done it correctly was very bright, but the negative line was light so... I'm confused. The reason I took the test is because I started spotting a week before my period was supposed to start, and almost 3 weeks later, i'm still spotting and my normal period has yet to start. It's almost like i'm having my period, it's just very light and spread out. I'm not having any nausea or anything like that.. So I don't think i'm pregnant, but i'm still confused. I'm on birth control, and a couple of weeks before this all happend I accidently messed my birth control up and I had to skip ahead to the next pack. So perhaps this is the reason my body is doing this? So...I'm not pregnant, right? I hope not. :(

Take another hpt and take it as soon as you wake up with the days first urine, but remember to pee just a tad before you ake the test or the bacteria that builds up inside of you at night may mess up the test.

There was supposed to be a + sign for positive. The sign showed up - but the negative sign was light, but I don't think that matters. There was no sign of a vertical line going through it.... So the test was negative i'm pretty sure.

Ok... I'll do that. I guess i'll get first response... Thats a reliable brand right? I have to go for my yearly exam anyway on tuesday, so I will ask them what could be going on. I'm starting to get nervous though.

Thank god.... I'm not pregnant. I took 2 more first response tests, both were negative. And I went to the doc, and she said I didn't have anything to worry about. Thankyou to all of you who gave me advice :)
