Ok, here I go. Im 19 years old and high cholesterol runs in my family. I went to the doctors last week and I just got my results this morning and wow was I surprised. 307 was my score, my ldl was 202 and my tri's are 197. In only 19 so im kind of worried. Is it common to have a heart attack at my age?? Also about 2 years ago I went to the emergency room for chest pains and they told me it was only stress pains, but i've noticed over the couple years that I get it off and on. They aren't as intense but I hurts to breath and my chest hurts. I wasn't sure if anyone else gets this, its not indigestion I know that but I don't know if I should get a cat scan or something to find out. I plan on exercising more and cutting things out of my diet but I feel gypped, im so young it not fair!
