Okay this is alittle embarrasing, but my boyfriend and I have been going together now for alomst a year. We stopped having sex for awhile and the one day last week decided to do it. Well afterwards I was in alot of pain and was bleeding bad. It lasted a few days. I got concerned and started looking around and noticed a small part of my vagina was hanging down. It looked really red and was very tender to the touch. What could have caused this and could this be why I am now having a vaginal discharge? Please help!!!

This did not happen before, when you had sex?It could be because you were not wet enough combined with not having sex for a while.Sometimes,we get a little rushed when we have not had sex for a while.Perhaps he was a little more vigorous in his thrusting. If your doc said you were fine, then go with that.Maybe next time, slow down and make sure you are ready and well lubricated before you have penetration.Good luck.
