Q: How I Stopped My Migraines

I used to get such bad migraines... Oh my. Imitrex, frova, feverfew, ginger, b-vitamins, I tried everything. I still take my fever and b-vitamin supplements, but I have not had a single migraine since september. That is amazing, as I used to get them 3x a week (mostly mild migraines, and then about 2x a month I would get what I call the "grand mal" migraines where I would be bedridden for 2-3 days). I am so happy that I haven't had a migraine in over 4 months. I really wish that everyone who suffers can get relief. I don't wish that on anyone at all.

I hope this information helps. Detoxifying your body is so important in order to cure any conditions we have. I used to drink almost 2 liters of diet cola a day - and all that aspartame was what I think was causing my migraines, but even quitting drinking the stuff didn't help, I had to detoxify my body. I do'nt see why the fda has approved aspartame because it has been shown to cause brain cancer. Even saccharin is better for you than aspartame.

Good luck all.

Thanks So Much!
Hi I just came accross this web site and thought it'd be a good idea to try it out and i'm so glad I did because all of your information was very helpfull. I will definately consider everything you suggested, you see, I suffer from all the kinds of migraines lately and for the past six months or so i've had menstrual migraines wich last up to 3 weeks and they are unbearable. One day I was at work, everything was fine and suddenly I went blind, I immediately took off (well got a ride) to my ophthalmologist's and he simply said it was a migraine, at that time I didn't know because it was the first time I experienced it like that but the nurse did tell me to eat a lot of spinach and over time I would see the results and not get migraines any more.

Detox Pads
Hi,

thank you so much for the information. I have been suffering from severe migraines for the past 12 years. I am only 26 yrs old and I cant even name or count all of the different meds I have been perscribed. I just went to the nuerologist this morning because lately my migraines have been worse and I am getting them at least twice a week. I tried a new nuerologist today and he like all the others gave me another drug. An anti-depressent drug! I am so tired of dealing with migraines and waking up everyday wondering if I am going to be able to live my life that day or suffer. I wish more physicians would stop and try to find the root cause rather than just pump my system with more drugs to cover the symptoms of a problem. I have decided I must continue my own research and try alternative methods to cure my migraines rather than rely on the hmo process of doctors who dont care and only give out drugs.

Thank you again for the information. I am ordering the pads today and I will owe you big time if they work for me. I will write back after I have tried them out.
