Q: Birth Control And Hair Loss

I was on birth control for 5 years and recently stopped taking it...It has been 3 months and all of the sudden, I am losing hair like it's going outta style. I have found some information on it, but everything just says that this is a side effect and usually temporary....Could last up to 6 months! I'm wondering if anyone out there knows of any way to help slow it down or stop it all together. I'm also experiencing a strange itching/tingling sensation on my scalp..Strange. Can anyone help me? :cry:
