I'm new to all this but ovulation is something I really dont understand can someone help me to get a better understanding

Answer..
Ovulation is when your ovum (egg) is released from one of your ovaries. It rotates from ovary to ovary every other month. So if this month its your left, next month it will be your right. (thats just an interesting fact) this occurs once a month, normally around the 14th day of your cycle...
