Ketogenic Diet.. Posted: 07-29-03 00:48am


I have been reading about the ketogenic diet and thus far have found that it is only used to treat children .I am wondering,has anyone heard of cases where adults were using this diet to treat their seizures.Any input on this topic will be very useful..thank you.

I am not a child and don't have seizures but I am on a ketogenic diet. It is both low fat AND low carb and I have lost 93 lbs. on it so far! I fell the healthiest I ahve felt in a long time. On a keto dtick on this diet you jsut burn a trace, which is the safest.
