I think I have a bacterial infection. I'm
pretty possitive it's not a yeast
infection because I have no discharge or
itching. I am fire engine red down there
and am feeling more of a sting then an
itch. Do you think its a coincidence that
I started feeling my symptoms the day
after I had sex with my husband?? Also,
can a really bad bacterial infection turn
into a uti?? Thanks for your input.

Sounds like you need to see your gyno
right away!If you leave a bacterial
infection untreated,it can cause major
fertility problems(besides driving you
crazy with the discomfort),your doc can do
an in-office culture to see if it is a
bacterial problem. If it is, you will be
given antibiotics for (usuallly)10
days(usually flagyl).Feel better!

I did go to the gyno and I did have a uti,
I was surprised because I didn't have any
symptoms, no burning, urgency,
frequency-nothin! All I had was readness.
So, good thing I went!

4 pre-filled applicators
2-week supply
each application lasts for 3 days
net wt 0.07 oz / 2g each
the normal vaginal ph of 4.5 or less helps
maintain a delicate natural balance that
favors normal vaginal flora. When the
vaginal ph rises, odor-causing
microorganisms can flourish. This
vaginal odor may be particularly prominent
after unprotected intercourse because of
the high ph (7.8-8.2) of semen. (note:
rephresh vaginal gel™ is not a
contraceptive and does not contain a
spermicide).
Rephresh vaginal gel™ eliminates vaginal
odor often from the first dose. Rephresh
vaginal gel™ contains no antimicrobial
agent. The key ingredient in rephresh
vaginal gel™ is polycarbophil, a
bioadhesive polymer used in medical and
healthcare products relied upon by
thousands of women worldwide.
Rephresh is "bioadhesive", which means it
adheres to the walls of the vagina and
minimizes leakage.
Unlike vaginal douches, rephresh vaginal
gel™ can reduce and maintain the vaginal
ph in the normal range for 72 hours or
more with a single application.
