Hi,
i am 45.6 yrs. Old and I think I am in the throws of p-menop., but I need a menopause-mentor, 'cause this is unfamiliar territory.
I know that my af has shortened in the last 12-18 months. I use be anywhere from 28-31 days with 31 days the norm. I am now around 26-28 days. Well this past month I got af as usual and then she appeared 13 days later.
That was last wednesday. I didn't have any idea she was coming on. I want in to the bathroom and just --whooosh--bright red, lots of blood. This only lasted for a day and she was gone. Now, 6 days later, i'm starting to spot. Is this normal perimenopause behavior?? I feel like I can't go anywhere without a pad.

I have also been under a great deal of stress lately and I have 2 small children 3 and 5 -- both natural pregnancies. Of course, I had my yearly physical with my ob/gyn 2 days before af and all of this began. So when she asked if I had any issues -- I responded, "no, everything's great." figures!!
Thanks for any insight.

Dana

I can relate to all of you, would like to discuss meno issues with you, I am going through the same symptoms, and I think it would help just to talk to someone who understands.

hugs to you all
