Hi there does anybody out there come across a connection between breast cancer and lupus? I had a double mascetomy last april and there is no breast cancer history in my family. I also had uterine cancer 6 years ago and had a hysterectomy. I was just wondering if there is any one else who has had this. Carolyn

Lupus And Cancer
Hey,
research has shown that there may be a connection to lupus and cancer. I have had a cancerous lump removed from my shoulder area three times so far. I have also had breast biopsies and I am supposed to go back to have a recheck of that situation. There is no breast cancer in my family either. So, I am quickly becoming of the mind that there really is nothing that lupus doesn't affect in some way or another. I know that really stinks but if you learn to live each day as it comes and be aware of what your body says to you, and also be familiar with what comes along with this perplexing desease, it eases a bit of stress. Good luck to you.

hey
i also have found several sites that list a connection between cancer and lupus. I had hodgkins lymphoma 14 years ago and now i have lupus. i have had several lymph nodes removed every few years. but by the research i have found i may have had the lupus first just no signs then. my suggestion is just keep doing as much reaserch as you can about it. good luck and God Bless
