Well, I think I am pregnant. I took the test. And it came out positive. I'm so scared. I have no idea what's ahead of me. I feel so lost. I haven't told my mom yet but i'm planning to really really soon.

The first day of my last period I think was on december 9, 2004 and I didn't get my period last january 9, 2005 and i'm always right on time. So, I got scared and took the test.

How do kids my age cope with this? I'm in a relationship with my baby's father. Which kind of makes me feel better.

I grew up in a broken family and its true what they say that its the kids who suffer in the separation of the parents. You see, I don't want my kid growing up like me.

It came to me that i'm not the only one affected here. There's a whole bunch of people. Especially my boyfriend, who's just 18 and in first year college and my baby.

Anyone, please don't hesitate to give me some pointers. I'm only 16.

Talk to your boyfriend about it and your mother. I am sure you will feel a lot better afterwards.

Hey sweetie. I am in pretty much the same situation as you. My last period was the same day yours was (pretty weird) so we are the same amount of weeks pregnant. I found out not very long after I was late for my period in january.
I am a little older than you...I am 19 and my boyfriend is 28. I have a relationship with the father of my baby, but it is very rocky at times. I am a sophomore in college and work part-time and my baby's father does not even have a job. He says he is going to start looking for one soon...Which he really needs to b/c I will not be able to support the baby financially on my own. My bf already has 2 other children from 2 other women :(
i still have not told my parents eiether but bought a "granparents" book for them to kind of help me break the news to them. Have you made a prenatal appointment yet? I have my first appointment scheduled for mid-february when I will be 10wks pregnant.
I am very scared and lost just as you are and would be happy to talk to you whenever.
It shows that you are thinking ahead for your child's future by being concerned about the father situation. Do you and your bf have a good relationship? How long have you been together? Do your parents approve of your relationship?
I have only been w/ my bf for about 6 months and my parents have never ever met him. They do not approve with our relationship b/c I am white and he is black...And then there is the age difference. They don't even know all of the other details about him, and if they did I know that would make them dissaprove even more.
I know this is a very scary time b/c I have not stopped thinking/stressing about it since I saw those 2 lines come up on the pregnancy test.

I know I didn't give alot of advice, but just know that you are not alone and the ladies on this board are great to come to for guidance. I hope everything is going okay with you...Have you told your bf? How does he feel?

Wow really? You had your last period on the 9th of december too? Lol!

My boyfriend and I have been going out for almost 2 years now and its been great! :d i'm not asking him to pay for any of the expenses because I know my family will take care of it all.. But when I told him that, he said I was crazy! Lol

i've tried telling my mom. I said its possible that I am pregnant. She reacted pretty cool about it. I mean, yeah she got a bit mad but who wouldn't right? Initial reaction. She thinks I haven't tested myself yet so she advised me to do so as soon as possible. I'm trying to act all clueless and innocent about this.

The worst part would be probably when I tell my dad. He's so nice and all but he shouts a whole lot. I doubt that he'll hit me or something.. Or will he? I really wouldn't know cause this has never happened before. I hope my stepmom won't make me look bad infront of my dad cause god knows that's all she ever does! Anyway.. Back to the topic...

I'm getting myself tested again this weekend... How am I gonna tell my mom?

What if my parents decide on aborting my baby? What then? I'm sort of really attached to it already and killing my baby won't do good for me.

I'm on my 7th week already... Time flies so fast!! It's amazing.
