Hey guys!! For like a week ive been really sick with a bad head ache and some stomach pain and some back pain. Anyways..Yesterday..I noticed some blood in my underwear when I went to the bathroom..(im 32 weeks preg) so I went to the hospital to get checked out. Everything was fine..I was just in some pain do to torn legaments and stuff..So the doctor gave me some pain med to help me sleep and take away the pain.. He gave me loratab(sp) and visteral (sp)... I didnt know you could take any other pain med then tylenol when preg.. So can someone explain to me what these two pills are for? I know the laratab was for pain..(i think) but what is the visteral (sp) for?

You should have asked her before she perscribed it to you. You have to know what you're putting in your body, and the meaning for it. Always! I would google it, definitley.

I wasnt precrisbed to them..They just gave them to before I left the hospital. The lady told me what they were..I was just feeling so sick, I didnt pay any attention and just took em and went home and went to bed. Then the next morning..I woke up and was like.. "what did she say those were for".. I was just wondering though! Im sure it wouldnt be to harmful being the hospital gave it to me.. Lol

You should ask your doctor about it. But I am sure that if it was harmful to the baby a hospital wouldn't have given them to you. But you still need to ask your doctor about it. Or aleast look it up on the net one.
