Omg if someone would have told me my doctor would have to finger me... I would have never got pregnant!!! I am now 37 wks... I just got back from the doctors..... I gained 8lbs in one week!!! Holly sh*t!!! The baby is now 6 lbs 2 oz... Thats good... But geezzsss I feel so violated... He's like ok take a deep breathe and push like you would push a baby out... Ok ok wait a second... Does he not remember I never had to push a baby out before... Well I am 1cm dialted... I guess thats good right? I am kinda worried I don't go back till the first of feb... My due date is the ninth... I thought being this close you go every wk... But this doctor decided he is leaving town... Great what if I go in labor next week... I know they would have another doctor but I don't want this other doctor to deliver my baby... You see he delivered my little brother and he messed up bad and almost killed my mom... So now my mom is like no matter what you are waitin till your due date... Yeah I see myself just holding him in there... Geez he is gonna come when he wants to... Lol... Alright I am down b*tching... I just didn't care for the dr to be putting his fingers where they don't belong... They should have a speacial tool for that...

But a tool wouldn't do the job of feeling how soft and dilated the cervix is.
I mean if you didn't want him to do and internal you should say, you can ask for a nurse to do it or for a nurse to be present, but it really wouldn't be practical to open you wide with a speculum and go inserting lots of measuring tools now would it. A nice sterile gloved lubed finger 30 seconds job done!

Let me just add nothing is more embarrassing than post hysterectomy surgury finding you are having a period then having 3 doctors looking up your vagina (held open with a *huge* speculum) with a torch just to proove it is a period! *yuk*

When I was pregnant I always hated that as well, but they of course have to do that to see if you are dialated. Don't get your hopes up though you are a 1 and could stay that way for awhile. I was a 1 for like 2 weeks I just wanted it to hurry up! And when the day came to deliver I wish that I was still dialted to 1 lol

On the subject of doctors fingers why why why do they need to feel up your bum when you have appendicitis? I think that is kinda wrong. At least with having babies they are feeling in the right place...
(i was 13 when I had my appendectomy) and yess  that was me after surgury so degrading lol

mind you the good to come from it was I lost so much modesty that I am now ok with being fully naked with my partner hehehe

i am married now since oct. 29th 2004. And I still can't be fully naked with him... I don't know why... I am just so afraid that I would make him discussted... I know I don't like to look in the mirror why should I make him look at me? I wish I was as comfortable as you...

I was like that when I was younger. As I got older I realized that guys are just as worried about their bodies as we are. And they are just happy to have a naked woman with them....Lol

I wasn't really uncomfortable about being naked til I got pregnant and started feeling heavy and fat. I always liked the beach and wore swim suits that were the next to being naked. At least that's what my mom and dad said.

but since I started packing on the preggo pounds and inches I feel more like covering up as much as I can. My bf says he loves how I am and sure acts like it, but I also keep feeling like he looks at me different. And when we're together and a nice looking girl walks by I feel like he's looking at them and wishing I was still like that even though he goes out of his way not to be like that. I used to be really proud of how I looked but now I feel like a walrus next to other girls and i'm always bugging him about it. I know it drives him crazy but I can't help it.

yeah I don't think my husband worries... If he could have it his way he would never get dressed.... He just walks around naked when he wants... But he also has a nice body... I was overweight way before I ever got pregnant.... So this just hasn't started... Only one person has seen me naked... And I felt so uncomfortable...

I used to be self conscious about my boobs cuz when I started getting them I just kept getting them til I got to be a 36d and everyone at school - and I mean boys and girls - stared at me like I was a freak or something. I know it sounds crazy but one of the first things I liked about jeff was when we started dating he was the first boy i'd gone out with who looked at my face and not my boobs. Funny thing is now i'm "boobier" than ever but my tummy gives people something different to stare at.

I put on 42 pounds since ive been pregnant, apparently its normal for my family though.

I feel like such a whale.
I never had a prob with being naked before, but now I hate it.
I wont let garry see me naked, and now he says he wont get naked unless I do... Which is so unfair, coz he has a well cute bum!!

I hate the doctors prodding and poking up me, keep getting scared im gonna break wind or sommin... Lol
