Q: bacterial vaginosis - contagious ?

Hi,
i was wondering if I had "bv" bacterial vaginosis is it possible to give it to my partner and him have symptms on his face? He has big red bumb all over his face and I was wondering if this was from my infection or if this is being caused by something else. Thank you so much!! :lol:

no. bv is not an std!! it is just an infectioni for woman. and can NOT be passed on through sexual intercourse. however, there are still some unanswered questions about it. this infection is only found in females. and is not contageous. your partner just has acne. lmao

Some say the bv can be passed on through intercourse. Some say it can't, some say it is an std so what is it, an std can it be passed from woman to man to woman?

It can be considered an STD. You can have bacterial vaginosis and then get cured only to be reinfected by your partner, especially if his hygiene is lacking. But generally speaking, it is rare to get it from having sex with a guy who had sex with another woman with BV. Unless he had sex with her on the same day and did not clean himself...eew.
